original metal t bucket rust strip procedures
well i got my t bucket bodies(2) back to my garage . they are completly rusted some perforation etc.
i am planning on stripping them down and taking the pieces to a local rad shop to be acid dipped and then after a good washing and a sand prep, spray them with a metal etch primer of some kind to keep them from rusting after. then i can start metal repairs patch spot sandblast etc.
i looked at sandblasting the entire bodies but as ther are so many nooks and crannnies i dont think i would be able to get it all and also what would be left of the panels. i had previously restored a old brit bike by dipping and it really turned out well after doing the above
anybody out there have any advise on anything i am doing or am i on the right track??????????????

what else can i do?i can access the portion of the shell but the doors are double walled and i would destroy them by blasting and trying to get to the inner sides . i am trying to get the rust off in the most effective non damaging way.
i have used a real fine type of blast sand that seems to do a good job without warping but is does not get int o the tough spots.
