So I consider it to be a street rod thanks wasn't sure what catagory it fell into. so does any one have any sugestions on how to improve it?
Cyberpyrot ~ It really depends on what you want to do with it...Do you want it to just look cool...do you want it to be fast...do you want to race it...what kind of look trips your trigger? Here's a couple links off Cardomain...different years but just look around an see what turns you on an then you can start makin a plan....

It's kinda hard to make suggestions without knowing what you got in it. I take it (due to the five lug wheels instead of 4 lugs) that it is a 302. Is it a stick or automatic? What's been done to the motor already? Let us know. Thanks.:HMMM: :HMMM:
You guy's are soooo cool I have tried to find pick's of other Maverick's with no luck checking out all these Mav pic's have realy got my motor going. I so excited to get started with my project car.
Thanks guy's
If anyone else has some cool pic's of Mav's please post a link...
 Sorry to dissapoint everyone no 302 it has a stock 250 strait 6 but I priced a 302 for $900 and they will bore it. but I don't know what would be the best bore size.Quote:

Function: noun, :an automobile rebuilt or modified for high speed and fast acceleration
- hot-rod /'hät-'räd/ verb
- hot-rod·der /'hät-"rä-d&r/ noun
I thank "hot rod" is the heading and everything else comes in under it, street rod, street machine, round track race car, drag car, or custom. I would take "hot rod" to mean "any" stock automobile rebuilt or modified for high speed and fast acceleration. I doubt cyberpyrot, that your ford would be considered a hot rod, but with some mods.it could be. i don't see the dif. in modifying a car with EFI or modifying a car with a carb., when you finish you have hot roded both of them. thats my story and im sticking to it. :D
john, you have taken all the work out of building hot rods. what we gonna do with our time now?:whacked:Quote:

Hey, in my life i've owned a Mustang, a Cutlass and an Eagle. Of all of them the only one that wasnt "Modified for higher speed and quicker acceleration" was the mustang. The point is, its not the car you have. Its what you do with it. Now If youll excuse me, I have an exhaust to bolt up;)
Ok last one here another view and a bit better then that last one but like everyone is saying Its a hotrod if you want it to be
So John, When are we gonna see some progress pics on the ole' Monza Mobile????? CyberPyrot...sorry...we occasionally get a bit off topic...The other thing that we forgot to mention I THINK....is BUDGET...he he he...sometimes what you do (or maybe I should say HOW you do it) with a car depends a bit on the resources you have to work with...if you're on a high school or college age budget...these guys can give you some ideas (WON'T YOU GUYS!!!????) about how to get some of the mods or effects you want for less $$$$
Firts of all I would like to state this  it turns out it is in fact a ford 8" When I look it's kinda ovel with two dimples and the fill plug is on the driver side. as far as buget goes I can get a trade in for the wife and kids, but I will try and start with the savings first. :3dSMILE: and thanks to John I now have a new desktop background for work and a great conversational peice. :p
John I hope you don't mind I am using your picture as my Avitor it is just tooo cool..

Cyberpyrot,
Personally, I think the green is a nice color, but the car needs lowering, and wheels/tires. Then it would be closer to what John has dreamed up; it would be "hot".
And to John G.: Great work!
