Well I'm finally at my 500th post, and I want to say this forum is usually one of the high points of my day. I especially want to thank the old GEEZERS and almost old GEEZERS for all the info and insight they provide.

As some of you know my wife and I ran into some financial difficulties earlier this year, which have fortunately resolved themselves. I'm currently doing contract work on the local Fort (so much for being semi-retired) which still allows me to keep the shop clear of customers so I can work on my toys as time permits.

Just in case anybody's interested, I thought I'd give a quick update on my projects.

77 Cobra II/74 Mustang II: To get out heads above water, the wife decided to sell her Cobra II (her choice, I would not have asked her to). To make a long story short, we talked it over and I'm in the process of building a 74 mustang II Coupe I had laying around for her. Just finishing the body work now and hopping to have it done and painted in a month or so. My life is always happier when she's happy.

57 Plymouth: This is the car that is next on the list as I want it done within the next year. I managed to get the front and rear suspension done added disc brakes to the front and a 4.10 Posi in the rear. The stick peddles are hung, but I still need get the motor mounts for the Hemi welded in. I did manage to get the rest of the exterior stainless I needed, so it's getting time to sent it out for body work.

64 Ford Custom: Just about done collecting parts for this one. I picked up a set of factory cast iron shortly headers for the 401 FE tri-power motor that's going in it, and made a deal on C6 from a 428 car. Thought I had a posi but my 28 spline axels won't work real well in a 31 spline carrier All I need now is time.

37 Dodge PU: As some of you know, I sold this earlier this year (not that I wanted to), and ended up buying it back when our money situation changed. It will actually go back in the shop before the 64. I've re-thought the exhaust on it and picked up a set of shortly headers for it, which will likely result in redoing the steering to clear them, oh well, why not go though all that work for a set of headers that you can't see because of the heads

So anyway that's whats going on in Mike's world. Life's good.
