Marked it off
Over the course of the last two years, Renee and I have traveled close to 100,000 miles, traveling back-and-forth across the US from coast to coast. We have slept in the bad lands, the smoky mountains, and many places in between. We have seen hundreds of things. Been to Mount Rushmore three times, Crazyhorse three times, the redwoods, Muir Beach beach and stopped at lots of national parks along the way. We have driven across Highway 90, 80, 36, 70 and the funnest of all RT66.
Today we both marked off another place we had never been before. Can you take a guess where it was?…joeLast edited by TooMany2count; 09-11-2024 at 09:57 PM.

Yep… actually we were there yesterday. That’s because we had to make a detour. We were coming from California going to Idaho Falls, when Renee got a phone call telling us everybody in the house has Covid. So not wanting to get sick. We changed our plans. Driving kind of straight to St. Louis. To pick up Renee‘s car that was in an accident last month and waiting for my car to get finished from being in an accident a couple weeks ago. Both our cars were hit by semi’s one coming to St. Louis and one going back to Idaho Falls. So we decided to take an adventure and travel down the highway we haven’t taken over the last two years.
We’ve taken just about every interstate going east or west and several going north and south. We’ve logged over 100,000 miles in the last two years. It’s all been a great. It’s been a great adventure, especially when you’re traveling with the one you love……joeLast edited by TooMany2count; 09-12-2024 at 05:05 PM.

That’s why I prefer to travel with people. I can’t keep up a good conversation with myself. We’re going to be coming through the area on I 70 in the next day or two. Wouldn’t mind putting a face with the name. I tried to send you a private message, but your message box is full. Let me know and clean up that damn message box so I can send you my phone number, L O L….joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

So: Roger, when you meet Joe could you say 'Gidday' from SWMBO and myself, and Joe: when you meet Roger could you say 'Gidday' from myself and SWMBO?
We've met both of you before.
Thanks!

Joe & I did link by mobile, and made plans to meet this afternoon as they were passing through, but Joe texted that Renee had stuffy sinuses this morning, so they were going to pass on meeting, not wanting to chance anyone else (me) getting sick. I appreciated the consideration, and we'll look for another opportunity to meet up down the road.Roger
