Been awhile since I've given any updates.. oops.. 8-)
I was crawling around under the coupe over the weekend, after I completed the cleanup of all the shiny bits. Roger and Seth were mentioning pinion angles and I couldn't remember if and/or what I had mine set at. Since the car was in the air... what the heck! So I set about to gather data. Pinion at 0 degrees... driveshaft at joint also 0 degrees. transmission tailshaft 5 degrees, driveshaft at joint 0 degrees... HMmmmmm... gonna have to fix that. Of course every connection needs to come out, get cleaned and lubed... working on the floor seems so much harder now than it used to. sigh.... I did get that conveyor up and running and it went to work - all good as JB would say. They liked my work and asked me to get another unit going. This one was a homebuilt unit to feed a crusher. Kubota diesel cobbled into some hydraulics to turn a flat belt. So I re-wired it, simple basic circuits and got that one running. Basically done, just need to figure out the charging system but I just picked up a wire diagram so almost finished!
