    I'm building a van....Hot rod or not?

It's been a very long time since I visited and I received a reminder....
I'm building a 69 chevy 108 panel van and I'm not really sure if vans fit the definition of "Hot Rod"...
I've installed a roller-cammed 305 TBI, 700r4 and posi out of a 91 GM wagon and set it rearward 18 inches...
I also flipped the front axle and added a stabilizer bar and scratch built a custom engine housing....And many other custom details.....
I've got a build blog with a lot of pics at vintage-vans.com in the "members showcase" section (AzDon's 108)....
I could post some here if vans are welcome (?)
It's been a challenging build because everything is laid out different than "hooded" vehicles....
Anyway, just thought I'd check in...

    Welcome back Don.

A lot of the members here are old enough to remember the van craze of the 70’s (hell a few of us might even admit to owning one back in the day). Seeing what you’re working on would be welcome here.

I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

If it's not stock and is built to go fast it's a Hot Rod!

Hell, if it's got wheels or wings we like it! Share pics - it is mandatory! (well... almost anyway!) 8-)
