The Sunnen salesman for this area had a rod/piston honing unit on a slide out in the back of a station wagon back in early 70s
Looks like a South Bend. Maybe 9 or 10 inch. I have a 10" Sheldon that I keep a 3 jaw chuck on. Super handy size for most car stuff.
I just noticed that there is a shaper directly behind the front seats. Shapers were very common up until the 60's. Still very handy for a home shop. They can do many functions of a milling machine, but use simple hand ground single point tools. The tools are almost exactly like lathe tool bits.
The main problem with them is that they are slow and fell out of favor. There was an old saying that you could make anything but money with a shaper!
