For me it was the anxiety / knowing the surgery was coming up. Doc had to ensure the surgeon understood that my anxiety was going to raise my blood pressure, they compensated with "something" when they put me under I returned to a normal reading. As soon as I awakened, my BP rose again. Stayed there the whole hospital stay too.

Tell me, yesterday I was so depressed and pissed off that I could a bit the heads off of 10 penny nails. It’s just getting aggravating especially since I’ve been dealing with this so long and none of my other doctors would actually do anything for me. Next to the pain the insomnia is the worst. I can only take pain medication for two or three days and then I’m up for a day or two because I can’t sleep because of the pain meds. Not wanting to take drugs but I sure would like to have a pill that would let me sleep for 12 hours straight. Give me three or four of them, That would be sleep I would enjoy. Uninterrupted sleep would be a blessing. It will get better before it get worse, I’m just thankful that I got a good woman to take care of me.
