metallic silver base, with fine metal flake intercoat, candy tangerine over top, cleared but not cut and buffed yet. Look behind it, you'll see a les paul getting touched up after headstock break repair.

Thanks for the pic. That is gonna look killer too. It has a nice reflection already so it'll look like a mirror when your done I'm certain. Been a while since we've chatted so thanks for making the time. I do appreciate it.

I love both of those cars, the blue is stunning.

Love the pics and the guitar. My son-in-law is making me a strat clone to match my 33.

A sweet guitar for sure. Do you use the tremolo often? I hate the way it changes the tuning but love the sounds you can create!

Thanks, I'm really liking this color, it just might be my new favorite!

Tremolos are a love or hate, lol! When I was a young man, I fell in love with Stratocasters. Learned how to adjust the six screws to set even on the tremolo's knife edges to better stay in tune and chapstick the nut to lube the strings. When Floyd Rose tremolos came out, I fell in love with them (lol). Floyds almost always come back in tune perfectly, I seldom have any tuning problems with any of mine. I can drop my strings until they are completely loose on the neck and let go, WHANG, it's back in tune. Same with pulling up.

However, because floyds are full floating they tend to drop pitch as you bend notes and this bothers a lot of people. I've been playing floyds for so long, I automatically rest my picking hand slightly on the tremolo when bending notes to correct the pitch. There are stabilizers for tremolos that do a pretty good job of keeping the pitch correct when you bend, but they make the tremolo feel too stiff for my preference.

I've lost count of how many floyd rose guitars I have, somewhere near a dozen I'm sure, lol. All of them stay in tune and seldom break strings. Once set up, they require very little maintenance. And YEAH, they make some awesome tones and squeals!

I'm more of a Gibson guy myself.. but I do lust for a Telecaster ( or two!) LOL..

Thanks Again for sharing the pic(s). It came out great, you'll have to give us an update later, curious if it plays as good as it looks.
