Prayers for a freind
There is a 36 yr old man in our town , and our church that is loosing his battle with leukemia. He has a wife and 3 kids from 5-17. There is no more options for him but we're praying for a miracle of healing for him. If you would like to know him better, here is a 17 minute video of him giving his testimony in a different local church . He doesn't have much time left so pray hard. https://www.facebook.com/abrands/vid...3734308116333/

Dave passed away this past Wednesday.

Man that's gotta be rough. At this time of year as well. Sorry for your loss and Chris and I send our condolences..

Praying for you right now, Seth. It's tough to loose a friend but my guess is that this man stepped into the presence of Jesus and while he will be missed, the reunion we all have someday will be sweet. Hang in there brother.

We got back from the funeral a bit ago, it just doesn't seem right when a widow carries in a child. It was such a wonderful funeral if there is such a thing. Dave had written a letter that addressed his wife, children, parents and sisters separately by name. His only concern was for them to keep their faith in Jesus. The pastor used his letter as a template for if the Bible was still being written today, how would this letter read if there was The Book of Dave in the Bible. Dave had the the song Even If played at the end with How Great Thou Art after that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6fA35Ved-Y There was 320 people at the funeral, he was loved by many.

Sounds like he was a well thought of great guy. Sad that he is gone.

Sounds like his life was a great testimony, Seth. I think that’s the greatest thing that can be said about someone after they pass; that they they knew the Lord and their salvation was apparent.

Seth, so sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers go to his family. That is such a bad deal especially this time of year.
