Down here in NZ we're heading in to summer, and our temperatures are steadily rising.
Have you ever noticed that when things get hotter they expand and get bigger?
That's why the days get longer in summer; it's all to do with the summer air temperature.
The days expand when it's hotter.

Yep, we know some of you guys will be checking the snow ploughs are all ready for the big chill. We have the Aussie Supercars racing here in Pukekohe this weekend so the track has had the occasional shower of rain fall to make it interesting for the drivers. The wind is blowing in the wrong direction so I haven't even been able to hear the V8's roar in anger like normal so have missed that as it sounds absolutely gorgeous.
