Lots of potential there, Shine. Looks like something that Don (DA34Guy) might need up in OK to help break the monotony of all of the deuces....;):LOL::LOL:
have a few who want it but i may make the trade for the falcons next week. i've had this thing for 30 years and this is the first time i have seen it together .
aw come on don ...... you could take the fenders off and lower the headlights :)
With a modern truck chassis under it, like maybe a Dodge 3500 and powered by a Cummins and 5-speed, that thing would be a hoot. A fellow should be able to find a good donor for around $5000 or less. I'd make it a flatbed with headache rack and some nice, shiny oak sideboards. That would look great with British Racing Green paint and tan leather interior. If John Gemmer were still around, he could do a photoshop of it.
.
I could use it 4 "Yard Art" up @ the end of my driveway. Do you deliver?
money talks :)
I like Richards thinking excluding the dirty burning diesel engine. Hot Rods have carburettors and the more the better that burn good clean fossil fuel. Apart from the lack of room in the cabin, I could see something awesome coming from that.
Restore it the way it is nice truck
these things aren't worth restoring. too much time and money for little return.
went to see the falcons yesterday. last time i really did not pay much attention and the weeds were chest high. man one is toast . few parts but little else. may make the trade anyway. tired of looking at this truck and no real use for it other than yard art .
i was going to decorate it with lights but been busy pushing trees before the weather hit. was going to set it in front of the tanker trailer .
