Cheezy offshore flexplates often crack and contribute to a noise that is hard to track. The best antidote is to use an SFI 29.1 flexplate that is thicker than a standard flexplate. Here are new offerings for LS motors....

I check in everyday and some are better than others. I don't think Brent has anything to do with the forum anymore, but I'm not sure. Hopefully as time moves on the forum will get better.
