So did you get the snow, Ryan? Friends moved recently from our area to George, Iowa and they were highlighted on Fox News Saturday for 17" of white fluffy stuff that had not been expected.

I'm not sure if it's the same storm but we're already over the 2 inch mark and it's still coming down.
My little sister in Court de Maine Idaho was without power for several days after the ice storm. My ex in Colorado was out of work for a day, roads closed, after they got ten inches of (as my dad says) "that miserable white $hit"
I had to laugh looking at our projected weather. I am moving this week with little time in the next few days to do storage runs. Naturally today the weather will be clear, since my day is split up with appointments. Tomorrow when I have the free time, it's suppose to rain! Meantioned a long time ago no moving in the rain! :)
Yes sir, we sure did. I'm not sure how much we got all together. By the time I got off work, the wind was blowing, and things were freezing. I had an interesting trip considering they didn't plow the last 2 roads I take. Yep, I need to get off my butt and get a 4wd put together. Haha
That's what happened to us. Back in September we sold the house and had to get our stuff out, on the weekend I needed to move it, mother nature waited long enough for us to get pickups and trailers loaded and then it opened up! I had covered as much as possible with plastic sheeting. But it still made a mess!
We kept trying to off load as fast as possible and were absolutely soaked right through!:CRY::CRY:
It all was ok but the angst and anxiety I could've done without! :3dSMILE:
There's a fella 'up there' sitting on a cloud taking a keen interest in what us mortals are doing.
"Look at that fella," he muses, "he thinks things are going along just fine. Boy have I got news for him!"
So at the worst possible moment there's a loud 'Kaching!' as this fella throws a handful of spanners in the works.
I know him well.
Even know his name.
It's Murphy.
