    Interesting post in an APOLOGY thread, Jerry. The simple fact is that without engineers to design cars, engines and associated gear, you would have nothing to work on except plowing the back forty with a mule. I'm sick of your cheap shots. Move on. I am.

    Glad to read your response Jack-I thought you probably had me on an IGNORE list as you haven't ever seemed to want to pay any attention to any of my suggestions concerning your lack of understanding on radiators and heat exchangers as related to cars
    And even no response about if there was any of your old home town stomping grounds that you'd like a current photo of before one of my recent road trips

    Jerry, my radiator, A/C and trans cooler work just fine - after I took advice from people I had respect for. Besides, I wouldn't ban you . . . I enjoy the comic relief you bring every day.

    In my original post I said that it takes a Man to apologize.
    It also takes a Man to accept it.
    If they don't then "they" get the ulcer.

    I have several friends that are engineers. I love busting their balls. Heck, they have the best engineer jokes.

    36sedan, IMO you have no need to apologize. I'm no pro welder but even I know a bad weld when I see one. Hell, so does my wife!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feelings. It just is what it is.

    The engineering mindset is a bit different. Here's a perfect example;

    An engineer was crossing a road one day when a frog called out to him and said, “If you kiss me, I’ll turn into a beautiful princess.” He bent over, picked up the frog and put it in his pocket.

    The frog spoke up again and said, “If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will stay with you for one week.”

    The engineer took the frog out of his pocket, smiled at it and returned it to the pocket.

    The frog then cried out, “If you kiss me and turn me back into a princess, I’ll stay with you and do ANYTHING you want.”

    Again the engineer took the frog out, smiled at it and put it back into his pocket.

    Finally, the frog asked, “What is the matter? I’ve told you I’m a beautiful princess, that I’ll stay with you for a week and do anything you want. Why won’t you kiss me?”

    The engineer said, “Look; I’m an engineer. I don’t have time for a girlfriend, but a talking Frog.... that’s cool!!!”

    Man oh man.. I've colected a lot of "talking frogs" in my career - but fortunately, I stopped long enough to kiss the right one 43 years ago.
