Raining In My Heart written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant and the "B" side of It Doesn't Matter Anymore was released shortly after "The Day The Music Died". If I'm not mistaken it was the last studio recording released and I played the hell out of the 45. It still almost brings tears to my eyes.

RE: MelloYello's post: We called the knob on the steering wheel a necker's knob for the same "arm around your honey" reason. Remember teaching her to shift when you pushed in the clutch? We called the fake whitewalls "mouse walls"....don't know where the term came from
Remember paying the muffler shop to weld pipe cap cutouts on your exhaust?
Remember pulling out the choke to make the car sound meaner at idle?
Remember buying 327 emblems to replace the 283 V on a Chevy?
Remember turning the air cleaner top over?
Remember dingleberries? Why did they ever exist?
How about the fuzzy rear view mirror cover?
Remember the clip on air diverter that was sometimes called a "ball cooler"?

Wikipedia - A brodie knob (alternate spelling brody knob) is a knob that attaches to the steering wheel of an automobile. The knob swivels, and is intended to make steering with one hand less difficult. Brodie knobs are also known as "necker knobs", because they allow steering with one hand while necking with the passenger. One disadvantage of the knob is that after letting go of the steering wheel after going around a corner, the steering wheel spins rapidly and the knob can hit the user's forearm or elbow. Other names include suicide knob (a reference to Steve Brodie, after whom the knob is said to be named), granny knob, and steering wheel spinner.
