San Diego Tour Guide
Hey Y'all, my youngest son and his wiffy are headed to San Diego tonight and will be there for three or four days. She has a business meeting to go to and he's just along for the ride but wants to celebrate her birthday which is tomorrow.
I told him that a lot of my internet friends on this Forum were from out there and I would ask where the good places where to eat and also maybe limited some sight seeing places.
They both like Asian, Barbecue and Seafood so if Y'all can recommend any proven eateries then I would appreciate the info.
Don't know what side of the city they will be on so just lay the name and addy on me and I'll pass it along.
OH, and where's the best location to view the Pacific around there without too much road time???
Thanks in advance,
meller

I hope 3Bob or somebody else chimes in here, I haven't been to San Diego in years, and the last time I was there, it was not the same town I used to know so well. Over the Fourth of July, Mrs. Rr and granddaughter were there to visit our old stomping grounds of the South Bay - Chula Vista and Imperial Beach, and she said it has changed so much that she got lost several times, had to drive by her childhood home twice before she even recognized it.

Thanks, Pal, I have passed this along to Bo's CEO/Wiffy so hopefully they will have enuff time to take advantage of this info. Ken, said that La Jolla Beach and Coronado were great locations to view the Pacific also so they may be tossing a coin to decide where. LOL

A visit to San Diego should include a visit to the Midway. It is a fantastic slice of history and the tour covers engine room to tower. well worth the proce of admission. Allow at least a couple hours. I could have spent for or five hours, but I really love military history.

Nay - I'm the "Sexton", ya know, the person who looks after the church and the churchyard, sometimes acting as bell-ringer and formerly known to be the gravedigger or maybe M7 Sexton self-propelled gun - History, technical details and picture
