After the war-and moving to the share crop farm ( Dad was a mechanic that was sorta like enslaved to work on trucks at Ford dealer during WW2, couldn't join military as he had a critical occupation) the 1951 Merc was first new car for Frank Clayton Family------Dark green, 3 speed OD, 2 door, radio, spotlight, cruiser fender skirts (but no continental kit) I was 10-and I did all the work on that car-chage oil, filter, grease,spark plugs (Champion H 10) points, condenser-got my drivers license at 15---had the harmonic dampner bust off while racing somebody on PROM nite junior year , the night before Mom and Dad was to go to Great Lakes Naval to see older brother graduate from boot camp----------------

I check in everyday and some are better than others. I don't think Brent has anything to do with the forum anymore, but I'm not sure. Hopefully as time moves on the forum will get better.
