I'd love to attend such a auction in person. Its a shame that some guys have these cars that they hope to "someday" work on just to leave them outside and uncovered instead of selling them (or at least covering) to someone that might actually do something with them.

My first employer had a 57 chevy convertible with every option available for that year (coolest was the "Wonder bar" radio with dual antennas and the power bench seat) sitting out in his back field. It was in rough shape at that time in the late 70's. I begged him to sell it to me many times. The top was gone and weeds were growing all around it. He would just say he will get to it someday. I would drive by every now and then and it sat for 20 years outside and uncovered. When he died, the kids sold the place and the car too. I'm sure it was a rusted out P.O.S. by that time. What a pity....
