    Pepi,
I'd say that if you're jumping into the DSLR arena your biggest question is whether to go the less expensive mirror mechanism with the smaller image sensor, or whether you want to jump up to the full frame DSLR with the large image sensor. There are advantages and disadvantages to both, and I tend toward the smaller image sensor providing a bit less distortion at the corners, but folks who do mostly landscape and protrait (people) photography (professionals) lean toward the full frame sensors. Full frame has its own lens family, so its a choice that really needs to be made before you jump into the pond. Some basics to explain the differences between them - Full-frame digital SLR - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and http://digital-photography-school.co...me-still-best/

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
