Christmas Quarter Panel - Matching a seam

Been working on my step-son's Christmas present. Took the red quarter panel off a truck at the pull a part ($40). her is a pic of the seam after welding. It did not "V" in on me but Santa better bring me a grinder. One day they will be pretty...Next, fiberglass, Bondo, then primer and all will be good.
