Haven't seen this in a while.....

So, in light of recent health "adventures" my realignment of the car hobby has been progressing. We're making decent progress on the '36 roadster after some setbacks with the decade old (purchase wise) top mechanism that didn't quite fit up properly. We're back on track after some remake and replace of various components and yesterday we did a mockup with some material and tape to make sure we were dialing in. Next week we'll look again with padding and the rough cut of the actual fabric.

Last Sunday the '32 sedan left the home shop for some metal surgery, mostly rust replacement but also fitting of a later year Ford dash. So progress there as well.

And in a fit of "recognizing reality" I decided to send the '28 roadster project down the road. This week the complete chassis left on a trailer in one direction, the body in the back of a pickup in another. Now all that's left to say goodbye to are a pile of miscellaneous parts.

The '39 will continue to act as the "better beater" for now, but will likely be the next candidate to vacate.

So, here's a pic of what the garage looked like as of last night............don't think the shop portion has been that empty in quite a few years. Hmmmmmmm.......

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.
