Yes, I finally did it! I scored a new-in-box DJM front/rear lowering kit from a fella who never got around to installing it. After a few weeks of pre-prep, like snagging an extra set of '74+ spindles at PickAPart on half-price day and fitting them with new king pins & bushings in advance, and a few other things, I was able to do the swap last weekend all by myself. I also added some 17x7 front/17x9 rear steelies from Wheel Vintiques along with some repop bottlecaps from Bob Drake. Some day I'll get around to making the whole truck the same color but there's also the faint cry of my '37 coming from the garage.....
