Nasty!!! Not much for crowd control, huh???
Rallying has always been know for spectakor suicidal stupidity. It has improved some what in most European countries but sadly, most the the third world countries where internationl rallys are held, there is still people who want to be up close to the action. What most don't realize is that there is no regular timing in rally, eg, unlike circuit racing where the field all start together and can pass a point on the track at a similiar time, rally is seperated and one may hear a car coming long before it appears and then it is gone so quick. I have been a steward responsible to keep spectakors back from the danger line in forestery runs a few times and sadly some people just don't get just how quick these cars travel and still believe that once they see the car they will have time to move out of the way, it just doesn't work like that.
That is called GENE POOL control! The stupid must die so the idiots don't spread their stupidity, Thus the gene pool becomes smarter.
In theory anyway...
yeah, tell that to our Politicians !
i love the gal who just sat there with her arm out to stop the car .
