Nice pix,Joe..Thanks for sharing.. Love the W900 Kenworth.. There's a good range of bodies and styles in that lot.. The Chevy school bus is sure to light Johnboy's fire,,,, That 60 F100 panel would look good in my shed,too..But,,so would that El Camino.. decisions,decisions.. ;)
Robin, the LONG Distance folks Tim & Karen Prior flew in from your neighboring country of Australia. They planned their vacation like so many of you folks down other so they could attend the shows here in the US....joe
Thanks for posting the pictures Must have been a great show.
Thanks for posting the pictures! I couldn't make it this year. My friend Leon was there though. I hope to be there next year with any luck.
Nice pics Joe, thanks for posting them for us!!!
Thanks for posting those Joe, some bloody gorgeous machinery there.
But that '57 Chev custom . . . what on earth had he been smoking!?!?
Johnboy, if you're talking about the middle picture on the bottom row of page 1 (the Caddy grill grafted in), I'll probably be having a nightmare involving that showing up in my rear view mirror tonight.:LOL::LOL:
.
Thanks for posting pics. Got a giggle from the 57, sure is an interesting choice.
I think half the country leaves,to go to the US at this time of the year,Joe.. Another friend, from Auckland has just got home after a three week trip up there.. They landed in Atlanta,,hired a Chev Suburban,,half filled it with goodies,,then hired a U-Haul trailer,,and filled that on the way across to California, via Rt.66,and bought a 1970 B/B F100,,a Harley,,and a near new Hemi Challenger,6 sp. for his better half.. Didn't he do well ?? ;)
Robin, you folks better leave enough for us here in the USA.
NO, you can't have them all...lol........joe
Now mind you it's NOTHING I would do & IF that's what the owner wanted, sooo be it.
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT...
That being said in my own opinion they ruined that truck by taking a hard grinding disc to it & then clear coating it. When I saw it I though "WTF kinda crack where these folks smoking that day...joe
The few pics I took
The below pic was a 37 chevy truck that had been turned into a tractor back in the 40's.

Thanks Joe.
What was the logic behind the two large nuts on a chain?
1st pic 2nd row down.
(You never granny-knot a chain. That's how you break them. A chain should only be tied with two half-hitches back-to-back.)
