Wow, Cup Qualifying at Michigan and the speeds are phenomenal!!! There's a few cars that have turned laps in the 34 second range. Gordon has the pole, lap of 34.88 secs, 206 mph average!!!!! That's 218 and change on the straightaway!!!!
Two poles in a row for Jeff! Smoke stayed home this week, Jeff Burton is driving for him.
And the track speed record fell at least twice while I was watching! Gordon brought the Brickyard car..
Lagano is still fast and giving Gordon fits on the restarts!! To funny! Gordon gets what he hands out when he's in the lead and he's frustrated by it!
And Kurt was plenty racey until he got the air taken off the rear spoiler! Smacked the wall..
Gordon got a good restart and held on.
