And now its time to compute what the value of all the numbers matching OEM pieces add to the market value at one of them high $$$$$$$auctions, mental distress over the years,then compute value back then and forward to todays DOLLARS, pick the highest number and head to court----or the gun store--now know the identity of the thieves--if you shoot them now will it still be a case of statue of limitations????( gotta use a old gun /ammo)
That's really good they're getting their car back. I really didn't see it going that way. I bet the story going viral put a lot of heat on Oregon and that sheriff's office.
I think rspears has it exactly right but the problem is proving it.

Great news! Wow I never thought it'd go this way either. I hope the guy who had it loses business over this, maybe people will question his work ethics, after watching this story unfold!
The story is apparently still far from over. The car had been complete and drivable up until at least last November (and some say even up until this started getting publicized). Here is a link to pictures of what was seized by the police.

I'm really glad he's giving back the parts he has. This would be a nightmare to restore the way it sits. Wouldn't this be a good one for Overhaulin'?
