Line through another week on the calandar... Its Friday!

Cant believe it's already Friday again...

I guess that means I reload last weekends to do list into the to do cannon and lite the fuse this afternoon. Tech night with the guys at the shop tonight. And my goal for the weekend is to finish the water pump on the forklift, Throw brake shoes and a tune up on the Desert Hippo, and Sunday afternoon get on the boat maintenance program back on track.

What the heck are you guys up to this weekend? Hope it's Hot Rod related?

Trying to finish some stacked stone retaining walls today, sweating away about 20# of water weight. Taking the '33 to the 30th Annual Mustang Club of KC Show for Mustangs and All Fords/Ford Powered Saturday.

I was planning on pulling an all nighter tonight to get a lot done on my 72 to take to Good Guys for next weekend, but have decided it isn't worth it. It'll get done when it gets done. So I'll try to get as much done to it as I can and go from there. Good luck with your guys's plans. Roger, have fun at the show!

Getting big time summer here in Tejas and of all things our AC in the house stopped cooling last night. Just had the summer maintenance done last week so I hope it's something simple like a connection, fuse and easy and quick to fix. The AC dudes should be here in an hour or so and ?if? they don't get it to cooling again then it will be Motel 6 for us tonight. Ordered some Cragar SS for the Fairlane last week but they probably won't be delivered until after the 4th, then me and the rubber man will see what will fit under the wells. Been a "beach" of a month with over a dozen birthdays in our family this month so maybe Julie will be a little kinder to us.

I had one decent afternoon of working on my 72 and spent the rest of the weekend playing Daddy day care.

Well,,tis Saturday down here now,,just gone midday.. I have a 1987 Kenworth cab sitting in the shop, which I am rejuvenating for the owner,,along with the whole fiberglass front,as well.. The ol' girl has been around,,been on it's side at some point,,done a million miles, and is getting the full rebuild treatment from the (newish) young owner, who is going to use it as a part time workhorse/rolling example of his truck resto skills.. I have just finished the rebuild of a 70's Mack R700 series front for him.. The owner of that truck has imported a brand new cab out of the US,for his restoration.. To top it off,,I went back to working for wages at the beginning of this week, just gone,,for various reasons,,and so I have to finish what I have here in my own shop after hours,,then build up the stocks of all our small panels,T bucket bodies,,etc,to keep up with the orders that roll in,,thankfully,, not too quickly..Needless to say,,I haven't spent much time on the pooter,in the last week,,so don't be alarmed if I disappear from time to time.. Fun and games... hehe..But,,,we might be able to do a few things that we haven't been able to do,for a while,,like have a night out..
I hope your 4th July celebrations are going well,,where ever you dudes(and dudesses) are doin it.. I had a beer for you guys last night..

Good luck with all that and post some pics of your big truck projects some time. I love the old heavy trucks too.
