Just started thinking about building a street rod and was wondering if there is frame that would work well for a T bucket or roadster. Someone recommended Chevy S10 frame but I see that is not the best option. Building my own frame isn't what I want to do because of my lack of knowledge in that area. I would be using big block Chevy. I am totally new to this and looking for ideas as to where to start. Any suggestions??

For a first build, I'd like to suggest you search out someone else's abandoned project. You'll be leaps and bounds ahead with careful selection.
There are sites like racingjunk that guys are selling off their project and you might find a bargain. Or look into Speedway if you want a T bucket, they have full kits that help build that first car completely.
Decide what you want the car to do, building a driver? Or a racer? Then write down a plan and a budget. Then figure out ways to achieve those goals and mostly... have FUN!
After all, it's a creative outlet and it should be fun - so when it becomes a drag.. drop the tools and go find the wife or girlfriend!
