Thanx Robin, Yep, I have a great network of friends and associates in the industry.
Always have 2 or 3 @ my disposal. After I sold my shop and got tired of buildin for other people. You know the drill, charge 40 - 60 K to build them a car then when done they expect a Ridler winner. Just got tired of the BS.
Now I find em like this where the guy has dropped 25 to 40 K in parts( buy em for 40 to 60 cents on the dollar invested), done most of the grunt work, then tells his wife he needs another 15 to 25 K to have it painted and trimmed, and her statement is usually, "You sell that damn thing cause you ain't puttin 1 more dollar in it !" That's where I come into the picture.
I can usually finish 1 up for 5 -7 K and sell it @ a very fair reduced price and make a tidy profit. Must be doin sumthin right as I have gone thru 25 like this since I closed my shop down in AZ and moved to OK 3 years ago
