There's a vehicle name I haven't heard of in a LOOOooooonnngg time!
It has a very "Utility Vehicle" look about it I think. It suites my personality.
The old Jeep pickups are great! They keep going forever, and can be made to look killer.
Love the trucks as well! Be sure to check out the IFSJA forum if you havent already. Must warn you that those old jeeps are addicting. My DD

Very nice!
Very nice Jeep! I had a Jeep Cherokee. I hit someone's tow-bar ball with the Jeep. The impact bent the frame in just ever so slightly. If I would have connected with their bumper (no ball) I think I would still be driving it. I didn't have the time to fix it so I bought a Ford Explorer (100K miles $3000). I would rather have the Jeep. I have reconditioned the Explorer and should get another 5 years out of it before it starts nickle and diming me. When the Explorer goes I want a 55 210 Post for my daily driver. I will turn a 4 door 55 Chevy into a 2 door or just buy one done (not too done - need to make it mine). But wait, then there is the shoe box ford I want to chop and customize...Soooo much want with too little time.
Some work ahead. Here it sits just waiting. Pics:
That one is in really good shape! Back when I was in college working in a body shop, we painted 3 of that era, and every one was a rusty mess. They sure are cool when done though.
Long as the old AMC 327 isn't locked up, it should not be a bad restore. If it is no good, then you could still put pretty much whatever you wanted in there since Kaiser put basically whatever engine they could get to keep their vehicles going down the production line. They were really struggling at that time
I have been praying to the car gods. After new oil, battery, new gas in tank, gas down carb (squeeze sphincter tight) and verrrroooom!
You must've been very good in a previous life! rofl....
It hasn't happened yet. That's the way it went in my 69 Charger after I pulled it out of a field in S.C. One can hope.
AH.. OK, we'll keep hoping then!
LOL. I'm sure I will post. I pick it up on the 7th of June. Till then - closing suspenseful music...
