Did a lot of spring cleanup around the yard, cut up downed tree, picked up pasture got lawn picked up and mowed ( kids were involved in all of this by the way ) beautiful day for sure. I still had time to hook up my new Speedhut GPS speedometer and try it out. It works great by the way. Were is the swap meet at in Sioux Falls? I need some inner fender wells for my 53. Mine are chopped up beyond repair.

I didn't do anything automotive, unless you consider changing oil in the work truck auto related. I did have a hoot taking these at the local park though.

Just amazing birds as well as the pics. I have the white barn owls living in the trees at the house. Noisy nights when they have young ones.

I'm specially proud of myself for not going to the gutter with the obvious replies! It is Sunday morning and I did miss church so... LOL Great stuff and thanks for posting!

If you didn't make it, you didn't miss much! Waste of time. Craig and I wound up over at my pal Lyle's and brought home some of his front end parts of his '57 Chevy, got to do a bit of work on them and put some primer on them. Did manage to talk Lyle out of a pair of wheels so the whole day wasn't wasted, anyway.....

Back from church @ 12:30 and went to my parents house so I didn't make it but doesnt sound like I missed much. thanks

Are '49 fenderwells the same as your pickup? Might be able to get you a pair.

yes, I think 48-53 will work. I found out that the truck ones are too tall . If you have some some around that would be great. I don't want you do go through too much trouble though,I haven't looked at all for any yet. I think there might be some at a few places around me also, I just have to call them or stop by. The problem is both of these people have tons of 40's through 60's cars and trucks but never want to sell anything. Let me know what your thinking. thanks
