The wife & I got an unexpected & unannounced visit from these three yesterday. Couldn't have came at a better time. Happy Tears were flowing Danielle kept tell Joe, "We should call your mom & dad to let them know we're coming. Joe told her that I couldn't get mad in any way shape or form because we have been playing the "Gotta" Game for the past 35 plus years. We would just show up for an unannounced visit w/us only knowing that those we wanted to see would be at home.
Can't count the number of times the tears had flowed & the smiles couldn't be wipe off when one of us would just show up for a visit. My Aunt Katie always told me that the 3 times that myself, Denise & Joe,Jr showed up out of the blue for a visit(Far NW Iowa) was the best presents she ever could have gotten, which meant a hellva lot to me.
So I pass the torch to our son & his family & he made me proud by making his mom & dad very happy yesterday morning
