On the TPS, he will have to graft his TPS sensor on to the linkage in some manner. Whether it's a bell crank type mechanism, or what ever. Anyway to move the sensor via the throttle cable or foot pedal to give the ecm the engine speed. Doesn't that trans have a throttle pressure cable too? He could hook it up on that as well.

All I really know about the trans is what I've read on various mopar forums & stuff so I'm not sure about the throttle pressure cable.

I wonder what all would have to be hooked up on the PCM to make it only read stuff for the trans?

Randy, I saw something and thought of you right away. It looks like PCS now offers a stand a lone controller for the 46re, 47re, and 48re transmissions. I saw it on PATC's site. It's located half way down the page. Maybe this will help your buddy out.
