Welcome, Joe. Looking forward to watching the build from afar!
Joe Welcome to CHR enjoy your stay and don't be afraid to post more pictures
here's some pic's working on interior. tongue and groove, each board had to be cut to fit.
Interesting interior!
Staying tuned to the build... :-)
Is that "knotty pine"? What will be the final finsh? That's original! Can't say I've seen it used other than the van craze of the 80's....
here's it finished. The old chevy's had a lot of wood in them, So I decided to continue with it.
Joe, welcome to CHR. Nice work on your coupe. I also like the interior choice. Different and unique. It reminds me of a sauna though. Hopefully it doesn't cook ya out. Keep up the great work!
Cool coupe.
All you're missing is a pair of bucket seats built in the Adirondack style ;):):):);)
got some more done. Got my body panels fitting right. Still a little body work to do. Then to finish up my wiring.
Very nice and welcome from me too . I noticed your previous photo's have disappeared so I missed them, do you use a photo storage site or something that delete old photo's after so long ? I like the idea of the stock looking car with upgraded mechanicals.
Man I'm glad you kept the power plant Chevy! I hate it when those chevy guys put Ford engines in their rides...:D:cool: SARCASM! Im always catching crap for stuffing Chevy engines in Fords. Just felt good to turn it around.**)
got it on the road for the fist time in a long time. Took it to the local car guys get together. Was a bit scary and excited at the same time. But it done great.

Hi, I'm new to the forum, my name is Ron and My project car is a 31 2dr. sedan, I have not been able to get started on it yet. I have to build a new home first so that I can have more room to work and concentrate fully on it once the house is done! I do have a 30 Ford that is fully restored to play with for now, and will sell it when the chevy is done, but the chevy is really my dream Rod as I have always loved GM and yes my chevy will stay completely chevy! ? except maybe the suspension as I want air-ride?
Hi Ron, and welcome. Just a suggestion, you might want to start a new thread as opposed to jumping on the end of one that's specific to someone's subject, like this build thread. Just click on the "Forum" tab at the top, scroll down to the one where you choose to post, and open it which will also bring up the "New Thread" button below that sub-forum's name. Maybe select "New Members/Sign In" to start. Here's a link to help -

Your project sounds cool. Eagle, Idaho? Ever hear of a guy named Marv Hintz?
got a little more done, putting air and heat in it now, and mounted gauges in dash.
