About time to go fast and turn left.... track is hot and slippery, gotta say Smoke and some of the other dirt short track guys have a good shot at a good finish!!!!
Timothy Peters won the Truck race in Iowa last night, drove a heck of a good race!!!! Really enjoy watching the kids in that series, the talent they have is amazing considering their ages!!!!
Well... that was interesting! Don't understand why they left Stewart out for so long. But, it was a gamble I guess. It was good to see Vickers get the win, been a long road for him.
Sure was good to see Brian win!!! Heck, he's not even a full time driver so it's nice to see someone other then the usual group of big team cars get a win, keeps sponsors and spectators happy!
Glad to see somebody win besides # 18 and 48. Don't get me wrong, I like those guys but just want to see the smaller teams get a few.
..........and Vickers did it without taking out the leader for a change. Actually raced it straight up!
Soap opera time again. Sorry to see Newman losing his ride, but I guess not unexpected...........seems he's having trouble pulling in a sponsor. What's going to really be interesting is to see how/if Childress pulls a rabbit out of his hat. Bad enough losing your #1 driver, but then your best sponsor (again, not unexpected, but still.....). Coupling that up with reading between the lines on Force's comments and it seems that all those empty seats we see week after week in both series are coming home to roost in the form of advertiser/sponsor support.
Vickers had to run it cleaner than anyone! He's fighting for a full time ride and his history has a couple'a "flaws" in there.
The sponsors certainly aren't as plentiful as 10 years ago. And all the multi-car teams have been affected. It seems a shame for those venues that expanded and added grandstands and parking, etc. etc.
