Anyone else getting a "Stop running this Script Warning"? It talks about the page being slow and becoming un-responsive..??..??
(like this site needs any more of that?!?!?!) :mad:
I'm seeing it over the past 2 days on 2 differnet computers.. AARRgghh...:(

So far here and Click CLick racing, they both use the same software... it's becoming painful, just typing this reply took 3 1/2 minutes waiting for the putor to do anything!

I'm getting it also, on just this site...
It has to do with an errored script that basicly over-runs the RAM on the computer to the point that the browser can't load any more and the window pops up. My older laptop with it's 256mb of ram does it on pretty much any V bullitin forum, quicker if loading pics, but even my custom built desktop with 8gb of ram will do it from time to time on a really badly coded site.
Mine has also been doing it lately and it seems only on this site. I just started hitting the "X" up in the browser address bar to stop the script and then it moves on with life. My laptop has 8GB of RAM and a pretty robust Intel processor, and I also double checked and it has no bugs, viruses, Trojans, or such.
PS: I don't know what it means but I ran Windows "script debugging" and it showed this problem:

I blew a gasket and did the restore program deal.. so now everything is back to day 1. I then upgraded to IE8 and this site doesn't give me that script warning anymore, I can't swear it's any faster but, it's definately better than it was earlier this evening. We'll see for how long.
I had tried emptying the cache, search history - temp files etc. etc. etc. , as that usually fixes it for awhile. Not this time.
And now it's back to warning me constantly.. what a waste of an evening.. grrrrr.....

So far (fingers crossed) it hasn't shown up on mine - - - I wonder if it has anything to do with "our" browsers? I use Firefox.
Same thing here! My work computor was crippled here last week (even yesterday!) today I haven't seen any script warnings so far! Thanks to the mods I'm sure!!Quote:

My work computor and my home PC both use internet explorer. I upgraded to the latest version for the home PC and it didn't change anything. I tried the fix supplied by microsoft and it made things worse!Quote:
