All of his movies were good, but if I had to pick a favorite it would have to be Rooster Cogburn!!!! Just what I'd imagined an Old West Sheriff towards the end of his career would be like!!! Ms. Hepburn almost stole the show from him though!!!! I don't know who did the casting for that one, but they certainly picked the two best for the lead parts!!!!
Good day to remember him again. John Wayne is one of the all time best. Made me want to grow up to be an ornery cowboy.
I have a soft spot for Ms. Hepburn, too, though I'd hope she'd prefer my hard spot if she wasn't kicking my butt for being a wise ass.
