Nothing special but it sure made me feel better.
Hope it does the same for Y'all.

I couldn't watch it.... my eyes get to blurry and wet!
Dang Mike, must be something in that link cause mine did the same thing, especially remembering those 4 legged pals from days gone by. Oh oh here we go again. sniff sniff
I couldn't get through it the first time.. can't even try it again!
I've always known dogs will go to heaven. Probably horses too as they're really special animals as well. Cats - probably not.. And before you decide to defend them, think about any pictures you've seen of animals with the devil - yup, cats.. jus' sayin:LOL::LOL:
I got a champaigne puss laying on my feet right now waiting for her belly rubbing.
I gotta little feline that goes nuts when I get home, lays across my chest and purrs non-stop as I rub his belly 'til he falls asleep. He's the most friendly cat I've ever seen!
Well in all honesty - we had one really good cat - named David for sixteen years (we had an Old English Sheep Dog named Goliath at the time!) and my wife cried for two days when we finally had to put David down - so I know they're out there. But I really just love dogs and their total no-agenda loyalty and unconditional love for their masters..
My cat adopted us! He followed me and our dog back to the house one day when we were out for our daily evening walk. He walked right in and made himself to home. The wife took him to the vet and had him inspected and with a clean bill of health he stayed and called us home. He does 3 or 4 tricks for a treat! Does high fives, will sit and what we call "plop", that is he just simply falls (or throws himself) onto his side while we say "PLOP"! LOL... I can hold a treat in my lips and he will cautiously retrieve it and give you a "bump" or head butt on your chin as a sign of affection.
When his time comes, I'll drown in the depression of loss. All of our pets have been special in their own way. After losing the last 2 I swore I couldn't do it again. But we rescued a shepard and then this cat moves in.. first into my house then my heart. I guess I'm just an old softy at heart!:LOL:
I have a good friend that had a yellow lab. While in the desert the kids took off on the motorcycles and she went chasing. The kids never looked back and mom and dad couldn't get up and going fast enough to retrieve the dog. They had to leave the desert that weekend and come home without the dog. Jim drove to the desert dozens of times looking for his dog. He would get up in the middle of the night and make the 4 hour round trip to look for his buddy. They posted signs and did everything they could think of without any luck. Several months went by and Jim caught wind of a guy that found a dog in the desert through a chance conversation his wife had had with a stranger. In fact the guys wife made him look or at least attempt to find the owner as the husband was bent on keeping her. Jim did some research and found the guys phone number. When he call he was told that the dog came into their camp some 6 weeks after Jim lost her. The ole guy wasn't very interested in letting Jim see her so In secrete the ole guys wife set up a surprise visit so Jim could confirm if it was his dog or not? As soon as Sugar saw Jim there was no doubt just who's dog she was. The old guy who adopted her gave her back to Jim. They both had tears but for totally different reasons. It ended up that Jim shared the dog with his new adopted friends. Ole sugar spent a couple weeks at a time at both places. Jim said every time he would drop the dog off for his visitations the dog would go nuts with excitement, like wise every time he got her back it was the same thing... The Magic of Animals!
I guess the bottom line for me is that among all of the furry, four legged friends that have blessed my live, there was always love and respect from both sides and I've had dogs, cats, donkeys, mules, horses and one armadillo. (ok, so he wasn't furry)
