    going for a scenic cruise vacation

     



    my gal and i are going to trailer the 27 to durango colo. for a 5 day mini vacation.
    stay in my buddies nice hotel in the san juan mountain range and do the scenic cruise through silverton ouray and telluride
    coming back through cortez.
    i have been all over this continent and this is some of the most beautiful country i have seen anywhere
    mexico ,canada and alaska included.
    a hot rod is whatever i decide it is.

    I agree, that area of SW Colorado is indeed the most beautiful part of a beautiful state. We had the Jeep out there several years ago and ran several of the easier trails around the Durango/Silverton/Ouray/Telluride area, but the highway drives back to the hotel were equally beautiful. Have wanted to go back and do Black Bear Pass, dropping down into Telluride, but never got back to that area yet. Have a ball!! And Don't Forget The Camera!!

    I'm jealous. That sounds like such a great way to spend time taking in the beauty of that part of our country with your gal by your side.
