My grandson is there as I type - - - - - I'm jealous !
OOoooo.. I'm jealous too! :3dSMILE::LOL::3dSMILE:
I watched Kyle drive a heck of a race last night, he was the class of the field for sure.
if I know Colton like I think I do, he's chasing skirts instead of watching the race hahahaha
Fast as the Texas track is, and being a night race with a cool track and good traction, got to wonder if this race will be as good as the California race????
Nice to see Martin Truax running so good!
But Kyle wins! New track record, led the most laps and set on the pole! A full weekend!!
Yuppers, and won the Nationwide race last night, one heck of a good paycheck!!!!!!!
Poo,,missed it...Have to watch the highlights in the morning..:whacked::whacked:
They showed Danica hacking at the steering wheel.Got-a-wonder when their going to give up on her as a project.Did ask the question of if it was her or the set up on the car,but stated she was doing the same thing in the older cars too.Hummm.
CB's crew is a class act for sure.
When the car is hooked up and the set up is wrong, if you don't work the wheels back and forth you're going to pound the wall!!!!
PS--First full season in the big leagues, leading in the rookie points, brought more money and fans to Stewart-Haas then they ever had, and they should fire her?????? Doesn't make much sense to me!!!!!
And if she ain't up on the wheel, she ain't trying!! She's got the desire for sure, just needs the experience now.
First full time season, going to tracks she's never raced on before and with a brand new car that NO ONE has any notes on.. she's a rookie, give'er some slack.. remember Jeff Gordons rookie year?? He used to hit everything on the track AND pit road!!:LOL:
And I've never heard anyone call Kyle Busch a class act!!:LOL: Called many things but, "class act" wouldn't be one of'em!:eek::LOL::3dSMILE:
Well watched the first 5 laps, ZZZZZZZZ 5 more laps ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ then the last 20.
************************************************************************
It's the last 20 that are the most important right?!?!:LOL:
(sometimes I hate it when it happens to me!... then other times, I just don't care! Especially when Jimmy Johnson wins!:LOL::LOL:)
There's so much goes into running and even finishing a 500 mile race!!!! I guess it's "boring" because the driver's are so good at running laps at 190+mph they make it look easy!!!! To finish first, you must first finish!!!!!!!
I usually stay awake for the shor track races, but Chicago, Texas and a couple more may be interesting from the driver's perspective, but as a spectator, instant ZZZZ.
As much as I dislike the Hendrick organization - Johnson usually does well. A win by him is instant shutoff after I see the final order. Plain Vanilla Jimmy post race interviews just do NOT interest me
The last pit stop time by CB's pit crew by anyone's standards was just outstanding.
If I was DP sponsor I would be getting alittle antsy.Could I drive one of those cars??. Hell no. I know guys we watch maybe 40 of the best there is. Just think she like so many other women that have tried has to start stepping up her game.
Me too!!!!! Jimmy is just one of those guys that you love to hate! I wish just once he would take a swing at another driver, smile like he really meant it, or just do something that would make us think he's actually human and not some robot that Chad Knaus put together to stick in the car! Watching and listening to Jimmy on Speed's "Victory Circle" post race show is about as exciting as watching paint dry!!!!
But, he sure is one heck of a driver! Anybody on their way to a NASCAR Championship is going to have to go thru the 48 team to get there....
They talk about J.J. and how the team sets that car up on the edge all the time. That a loose car like that is all driver. And it how he likes it that way.
The trucks are running at Rockingham this afternoon, should be a heck of a good race! Should be on SPEED here in a short time......
they just got the green, should be a good race
BTW, Dave, how's the little ladies doing?
Kyle Larson won his first truck race today!!! That kid can sure drive a race car!
Girls are doing great Emm, we were just having a discussion during the Truck race about which one was going to be the crew chief and which one was going to be the driver!!!!! Had one on each knee the other day showing them pictures of Jr. Dragster for sale on Racing Junk.com-----Mom slapped me in the back of the head!!!!!!!
Might as well make it 3 for 3! I just cannot get excited when JJ is interviewed as he never has any emotion! But he is a great driver, no doubt about it!
Couldn't see the truck race but I used to enjoy a truck race better than the big league sometimes.. the "kids" let it all hang out and it's more fun to watch that raw emotion!:D
Hornaday may be in trouble after dumping a guy on purpose during a caution - it was a bit neater then when Kyle Buschwhacker did it to him though it did total the guys truck. Dumps "happen" during a race, but during a caution may catch a guy with his belts a bit loosened for a breather. One of these days someone may do that idiot some real personal physical harm at the knuckle end of a closed fist.
