Surely there has been enough publicity about these axles.
I'm surprised there are any left out there...they've been talked about at various meets I've attended, they've been mentioned on several forums, and in many magazines.
We're fortunate in that we're not running any, or anything remotely like them.
But if we had been...we certainly wouldn't be doing so now!
Regarding the run itself; we're not taking part.
This is the first weekend for ages we've had off...I'm gonna sit and blob!

I don't know everything about anything, and I don't know anything about lots of things.
'47 Ford sedan. 350 -- 350, Jaguar irs + ifs.
'49 Morris Minor. Datsun 1500cc, 5sp manual, Marina front axle, Nissan rear axle.
'51 Ford school bus. Chev 400 ci Vortec 5 sp manual + Gearvendors 2sp, 2000 Chev lwb dually chassis and axles.
'64 A.C. Cobra replica. Ford 429, C6 auto, Torana ifs, Jaguar irs.

There hasn't really been an issue with the Superbell axles,Johnboy,,just the Magnums,so I dont know exactly why it broke..When you consider all the guys in this country who used to heat the old original I beams,and drop them,etc,,and had no probs,( that we know of),and all this is happening with the aftermarket units..Think I will use the 47 I beam I have,and just modify cross member,and reverse eye spring when I get to that particular car..Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???
