Have some fun - Could you pass a US citizenship test?

This is a test to see if you could become a US citizen. It's fun (and NOT political, Bill), but I did have to remember my history classes. It will take a while to do, but will jog the dank dark recesses of your memory. I missed one - When was the US Constitution Written - blew it by a year:o

Be truthful and don't hedge when (if??) you report back. All you need are 58 to become a citizen:eek:

Well shall I pack my bag or is the welcome mat still locked away after I upset one or two here, I just got in with 65 correct and 31 wrong.

I started through it, but that is one of the slowest processes I've seen!! Not only does it check your answers with each question, with their method you have to go through each one twice!! I got to about a dozen questions and bagged the process as too time consuming!

I got about 90% of the way through it and lost the connection! 8-(

"Taking a while..." is a significant difference than ten minutes to get through ten questions!! That thing is EVIL!!

I answered ten correctly out of seventeen before I gave up...maybe you guys aren't ready for me yet huh?

I would not pass the test but that does not disturb me one little bit as I already live in Australia which is the best country on earth :D

Heck yes Dave, I do still intend to sell up everything once Mum has past and move on up to see and experience your fantastic country. I have received a couple of really excellent informative emails from rodder friends up there explaining more in-depth the gun laws that I will freely admit I only understood what the media had fed me and , heck , I was wrong to jump down everybodies throat with what I thought was good law changing policy. I will also apologize for mixing Christian beliefs and the gun laws together as they are two totally different beliefs.

Bob - I wont even touch that one beyond saying that we could have a long thirsty discussion over a Foster's or a Budweiser, depending on where we were at the time

We should give this test to the illegals....they would get bored half way thru and go back home.

I guess I'm a patient citizen and stuck it out. I got 91 correct out of the 96...made a couple dumb mistakes. I now wish one right of citizens is "no pop up ads".

It said when you become a citizen you give up loyalty to another country; but I know a couple people who hold dual citizenship so what do they do?

I like "Bull-Moose" and wish we still had a political party by that name; it's better than "Bull-Shit"

Won't be long before the only test will be the ability to "vote" !

I patiently persisted because I was just curious enough to see how I'd do. I got 92%. I guess Susan B. Anthony didn't have anything to do with the Red Cross but she did have a $1 coin!;) The other 7 wrong were just bad guesses I guess.....:D

My parents left Hungary during WWII when the Ruskie's where coming in (no love lost between Hungarians and Russians) having already endured all the b.s. from the Nazis, so they went to Austria which was under control of US and GB. So I was born in Austria; we came here in the early '50's right after we saw how cool the shoebox Fords were and I was born in '49 with a spiritual attachment to '49 Merc's. When my parents studied and became U.S. Citizens, me and my two siblings automatically became citizens since we were just kids.

Just got finished taking it with my 16 year old grandson and we aced it.
