The 2803 off the California title is the actual VIN used during the 1934 time period. The use of an 11 digit VIN number did not come about until the a phase in by the manufacturers starting in the early 1960's. The switch to 17 digit VIN numbers happened in 1983. So you will not find a longer Vehicle identification number on your Chevy's chassis.

okey! is ther any place you can get a car serial #? i know its a body by fisher cant find any plate tag on the car with this numbers only a new tag on the firewall. and this can't be right
