This was at a speed shop opening in Tucson. Here are a few of the unusual things.
The Lincoln was modified by the owner, a retired Vet! He adapted a Ford convertible top assembly, added suicide doors, and a tilt front... HIMSELF!
The black T-bucket sounded great on the chassis dyno!!!
The white T-bucket should move along well with that BBC!!!

This street-driven Grand Am had a full racing chassis under it... plus a 406 Chevy for power!

Some serious power there HRP! I had one of those little Vega wagons years back as a commuter daily driver, and it would have been a whole new story with a an engine like that black one has! And I really like that truck mounted dyno! The number of shops around here with dyno's keeps shrinking, and I'm thinking that a mobile unit might be a really good idea! Probably couldn't make money with it, but it could be a great "promo" unit for a successful shop, like maybe ProCharger in Lenexa.....:HMMM:;)

But notice the lack of front brakes on the white bucket and with a BBC in it I would like some stopping power also thanks.

Sorry Dave. That's it. No big surprises in the rear though. He did a pretty good job of blending the Galaxy rag top assembly in.
The hood is a fiberglass piece, with steel fenders. Everything is do-it-yourself work from the owner, and while it wasn't perfect, I loved the imagination... and the pride he showed! :-)
After following this hobby over 50 years, it is refreshing to see something this different.
Yeah, like you Jay I'm just tired of seeing the same old thing put together with the same old store bought pieces and thought the Lincoln was proof that there's still a few of us "take what you got and build what you want" guys around!!!!!!
