Glad the surgery went well, and hope that your recovery period is without any problems. Doing a 12 hour shift a few days after knee surgery might be questionable, but it sounds like with some planning you can probably be seated most of the time, and can even elevate the leg as needed. Tell your wife it's better than you going to the local sports bar to relax!!
