Hope they're not hungry when they get out! :)
They told me that they didn't have guard dogs in the yard anymore and they don't ever see any strays---
Yeah I bet not! :)
'Scuse my ignorance; but what are they?
They're a reptile of some sort obviously, but what sort?
.
I'll join you in your "ignorance" Johnboy.....I don't know what they are either but I'm sure if I was trying to score a steal under one of the cars in that shop and one of those things crawled under the car with me, I'd think it was a freakin' T-Rex about to eat me alive!!:eek: I would exit the premises with empty hands and full britches!!!:LOL::LOL:
I'm no zoologist, but I think they're Iguanas
Yea, there Iguana's.. What variation, I do not know ( there are many variations ).
I had the unfortunate experience of pissing one off in the open one time. He nearly got me! I thought it was dead, but it was a set up from my pecker head friend. He wanted me to dispose of it, and I fell for it. Luckily for me I jumped the gate as the Iguana slammed into it. I won't mess with one again. :)
I speak with an air of great authority.
I feel pretty sure that they are marine iguanas (not to be confused with land iguanas), probably from the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador.
Only a well traveled old wise-arse like me would know important stuff like that.
Actually, I've been there.
