I'm envious Pat!
Sounds as though it will be fun!
That's a fair stretch of country to cross, are you going to stick to main roads or deviate through little out-of-the-way places?
We were intending to do a similar trip this coming August/September, but decided to postpone it for twelve months due to the bus being so close to being finished, and we'd have to be here to make decisions regarding the interior, painting etc.
But next year...USA here we come!
Roger, what is this book "NSRA's Fellow Pages" that you mentioned?
Does it give contacts to NSRA chapters across the country?
Is it only available to NSRA members?
We're both NSRA members, have been for many years, but NSRA New Zealand; and I'm pretty sure our NSRA has no ties/affiliations with yours.
But if the book is what I think it is, would it be possible to get my hands on a copy somehow?

Some mistakes are too much fun to be made only once.
I don't know everything about anything, and I don't know anything about lots of things.
