I live in the boonies and the likelyhood of ever having hard wired or fiber high speed internet is just never going to happen. We now have our internet with a tower transmitter and the speed rarely gets above 1 meg. Frontier has advertised 7 megs but when the installer showed up the other day, he metered it and came up with 1.1 to 2.5 which is hardly worth making the installation since our old supplier claims we'll have 3 meg by the end of the year. I'm wondering if anyone is using Hughs or Wild Blue and if it's any good.
