Some nasty wrecks!!! Really messed up some nice old iron!!! Suppose the people in and around Boston have learned to drive any better since then?????
I don't know if we've gotten any better?!?! But, We drive a bunch better than those from So'western Conn. \ So'eastern New York.. IMHO!
The only times I feared driving, In Puerto Rico would be # 1 and # 2 would have to be anywhere in Southern Indiana, the tailgater capital of the nation!
The amazing thing I noticed in the pics was how those cars just folded and tore apart. Amazing when you consider they were usually in the city and top speed couldn't have reached 60 on a open road!
Interesting photos, I did not see any airbags, what's up with that? Loved the chain rear drive on that truck that hit the bus. I book marked that for the future, thanks for the link.
Amazing photos...thanks for the link Charlie.

I remember the chain drive coal trucks from when I was a kid. They were all over downtown Chicago
There's a joke in there somewhere.........
Apparently trees have huge magnets in them..............then and now:Driver Wraps New Mustang Around Tree After Owning It For Only Eight Hours
Man, that sure left some bad scratches in the new paint!!!!!!
A few minutes on the pull rack, a little bondo and some paint - good as new.
( There probably isn't even a salvageable drive line in that one !!! )
